01 / The basics

What is neurodiversity coaching?

Neurodiversity coaching is practical, strengths-based support for people whose brains work differently. Rather than trying to make you behave like a neurotypical person, a coach helps you build routines, environments and strategies that suit the way you already think.

Sessions usually cover executive function, energy and burnout, communication, sensory needs, study or work demands, and the confidence that gets chipped away by years of being told to try harder.

Most NeuCare coaches are neurodivergent themselves. That changes the tone of a session: less explaining yourself, more getting on with what would genuinely help.

05 / Questions

Common questions

Do I need a diagnosis for neurodiversity coaching?

No. Plenty of people start coaching while waiting for an assessment, or without seeking a diagnosis at all. Coaching responds to what is actually happening in your life, not to a label.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is practical and forward-looking: systems, routines, accountability. Therapy works more deeply on emotional processing and mental health. Our team can help you decide which fits right now, and some people use both.

What does neurodiversity coaching cost in the UK?

One-off sessions with NeuCare coaches start from £30 plus a 15% booking fee. Monthly care plans start at £79 and work out cheaper per session. Prices for each coach are shown before you book.

Are sessions online?

Most coaches work online across the UK, and some offer in-person sessions near where they are based. You choose your preference during matching.
