Enhanced DBS & safeguarding checked Neurodiversity-affirming, never deficit-based

01 / The basics

What SEND support through NeuCare covers

SEND teams are stretched. NeuCare gives schools and trusts a way to bring in specialist support without a recruitment round: one-to-one mentoring and therapeutic sessions for named students, short-term cover while a role is vacant or a colleague is on leave, and extra capacity in the weeks around reviews and transitions.

Practitioners work with your SENCO, not around them. Sessions are logged against IEP, PSP and EHCP outcomes, so progress and spend can be evidenced for leadership, governors and local authority reviews.

Parents at your school can also be given access to the same practitioners, which keeps strategies joined up between home and classroom rather than pulling in different directions.

02 / Who it helps

Support shaped around the person

SENCOs & inclusion leads

Extra one-to-one capacity for named students, plus specialist input for cases your team has not met before.

Senior leaders & trusts

Temporary SEND staffing and gap cover with clear costs, safeguarding assurance and evidence of impact.

Parents at your school

Access to the same vetted practitioners at home, so support does not stop at the school gate.

05 / Questions

Common questions

Can we book ad hoc sessions rather than a contract?

Yes. Most schools start with ad hoc sessions for one or two students and scale from there. There is no minimum term.

Can NeuCare cover a vacant SEND role?

Yes. We place practitioners for short-term and temporary cover - maternity, long-term absence or a gap between appointments - with the same vetting as our one-to-one work.

How is safeguarding handled?

Every practitioner holds an enhanced DBS with identity, reference and qualification checks. Safer recruitment records are available to your DSL, and our safeguarding policy is published on the site.

How do we evidence the spend?

Sessions are logged against IEP, PSP and EHCP targets in Neu Road, so you can export attendance, progress and spend for leadership, governors and the local authority.
